Today is Free Practice day for all competitors, they get to try out their settings. The weather is sunny so they won’t be testing their wet setting, hopefully it won’t rain during qualifying or race day.

My all time favourite the RX7, dated but still competitive. This year, the color scheme changed from yellow to silver, possible a change in sponsors.

apr #95, was the winning GT300 team last year. This year they changed from Toy Story theme to Lighting McQueen from Cars

Today I went to collect my passes and I take the opportunity to capture some shots in the pit. This is the best time to capture the crew as they are still in relax mode. You’ll get to see them in *play* mode.

All participants need to be scrutinized before the race and here you see them lining up to do so.

Team engineers pushing their competition machine into the scrutinizing area. Notice on the read window the weight hadicap that this Xanavi has on it’s previous race, 115kg!!

This is what I called engineers having fun!!

What were they doing? They were bored waiting for their machines to be inspected and they decide to have a sprint from the first pit to the last and back.

Engineers also have to ensure that the lights are working fine, very essential in Super Gt race.

Team crew is not restricted to male.

MotoGP 2008 Pre-Season Testing @ Sepang

For this testing session only a handful of riders & manufacture came. Last year’s champion Casey Stoner will not be joining the pack for this round. Hayden & Rossi will be testing hard for the pre-season. Honda seems to be having problem with their premuetic engine and opt to used 2007’s engine in the 2008’s chassis.
