It’s the last day of Super GT Round 4, it’s going to be hectic. Reach Sepang much earlier, 8:15am and start camping at the entrance. Today there is an opportunity for the public to go on to the Safari ride. This bus ride is designed so that the public can feels the GT cars as close as possible in the track. I have ride on one before, it is fantastic. Same as yesterday, the pitwalk starts at noon, however the crowd is crazy!! There’s no way you could get a clear shot unless you are patient enough, however time is a luxury during this moment as only 45minutes is allocated for the pitwalk. There is so much pushing, shouting, swearing going about, it’s kinda ugly. Well, I almost gave up until I saw a mate at the Zent’s team, so I decide to spend the rest of the pitwalk there

Next highlight would be the grid formation where the team have to park their machine at their respective grid position, along with their team mechanics and racequeen. Well, another round of racequeen photographing session. I would like to note here that Sepang track is indeed very hot, most of the racequeen is sweating like in a sauna, kinda fun looking at them.

The team still got one last task before flying back to Japan, that’s to pack all their stuffs.

Since I have most of my car shot yesterday, I decided that today I will only concentrate on the human activities around the track, notably the racequeens. A bunch of us did our usual routine, camp near the entrance of the paddock and wait for the racequeen to come to work. It’s a funny sight. Pitwalk starts at noon and as each year, it’s pack with racequeen fans. Later in the day, the team are set for super lap qualifying that will set their grid position in tomorrow’s race. After the superlap, the media have to attend the press conference and then the compulsory photographer’s briefing. In doing so, I have missed the kids pit walkabout. The atmosphere is great, no crowd, no heat, the racequeen are happy, righfully so since most of them will be in contact with Malaysian & Japanese kids. Really missed out. Oh well, that’s work commitment. Here’s is today’s take, hope you enjoy.

Today is the official practise session for Round 4 of the Super GT Championship. No racequeens, pure rubber & smoke today. My objective is to take as many angle of these machines today so I can concentrate on other activities. Today I am fortunate enough to be equiped with 1DS MKII, 1D MK2N, 70-200, 17-40, 600, 300. It is so much better when using two bodies, only downside is that you need a lot more memory solution. Total capacity for me today is 26GB. Oh today is also my first time trying to pan with a 600×2 on a 1DS (^_^)Y
